* This chart is based upon a careful consideration of each conversion described in the book of Acts. The question asked is "What did they do or what were they told to do in order to be saved?" In each case, while it was understood that perhaps more transpired, only that which was stated is shown in the chart. For instance, in the case of those on Pentecost, Saul, and Lydia, it isn't mentioned that they were commanded to believe or that they did believe. It is, however, obvious that they did - their actions proved it. Notice that in each case, it is said they were baptized. How can anyone read this and conclude that baptism should be excluded from the question, "What must I do to be saved?" [Back to top]
